Anna Dobrosovestnova

Research Fellow

Anna’s academic background is in Semiotics and Film Studies. In November 2019, she graduated with distinction from the Middle European Interdisciplinary Master’s programme in Cognitive Science at the University of Vienna. She joined the Philosophy and Media Group within the framework of FWF Neuromatic Game Project where she is investigating the concepts of optimization and resistance in the context of neurointerface technologies. She is also actively collaborating with Glenda Hannibal from Vienna University of Technology Human-Computer Interaction Group on the topics of social robots and affective labor.

Anna’s research interests include social emotions in human-robot interactions, philosophy of technology and robot ethics. More broadly, she is interested in philosophy of science and in dialogue between arts and sciences.

In her free time, she enjoys dancing Argentine tango and urban dances.
